Biography
Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, born on October 7, 1952, has held the position of President of Russia since May 7, 2012. His political career includes two previous terms as President, which spanned from 2000 to 2008. In addition to his presidency, Putin has also fulfilled the role of Prime Minister of Russia, serving from 1999 to 2000 and again from 2008 to 2012. Notably, during his most recent term as Prime Minister, he took on the responsibilities of Chairman of United Russia, the dominant political party in the country.
