Charles Parnell, born on October 26, 1964, is a talented American actor recognized for his dynamic performances across various mediums. He gained significant acclaim for his portrayal of Rear Admiral Solomon "Warlock" Bates in the blockbuster film Top Gun: Maverick, released in 2022. Parnell is also known for his role as Police Chief Derek Frye on the iconic soap opera All My Children, where he succeeded William Christian, appearing from September 8, 2005, until his last episode on September 24, 2007.
In addition to his work on daytime television, Parnell showcased his versatility as Master Chief Russ Jeter in the TNT series The Last Ship, which aired from 2014 to 2018.
