Biography

Amy Marie Yasbeck, born on September 12, 1962, in Blue Ash, Ohio, is a prominent American actress renowned for her diverse roles in television and film. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Casey Chappel Davenport on the beloved sitcom *Wings*, which aired from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, she captured audience attention as Madison, a mermaid in the 1988 Disney television film *Splash, Too*, a character originally made famous by Daryl Hannah in the classic film *Splash*.

Yasbeck completed her high school education at The Summit Country Day School in Cincinnati before pursuing a degree in theater at the University of Detroit Mercy. Following her graduation, she ventured to Los Angeles to embark on her acting career. Her early work included guest appearances on iconic shows such as *Dallas*, *Magnum, P.I.*, and *Murphy Brown*, and she had a notable stint as Olivia Reed on the soap opera *Days of Our Lives* from 1986 to 1987.
