Daryl Hannah
Biography
Daryl Hannah hails from Chicago, Illinois, where she spent her formative years. She pursued higher education at the University of Southern California (USC) and stepped into the film industry with her debut in Brian De Palma's The Fury in 1978. Throughout her career, she gained recognition for her roles in notable films such as Ron Howard's Splash, released in 1984, and Steel Magnolias, directed by Herbert Ross, in 1989. In 1994, Hannah earned the Jury Award for Best Short at the Berlin International Film Festival for her work on The Last Supper, a project she not only directed but also wrote and produced.
