Amanda Seyfried
Biography
Amanda Michelle Seyfried, born on December 3, 1985, is a talented American actress who embarked on her acting journey at the young age of 15. She initially gained recognition through recurring roles in popular soap operas, portraying Lucy Montgomery in CBS's *As the World Turns* (1999–2001) and Joni Stafford in ABC's *All My Children* (2003). Seyfried's breakthrough came with her feature film debut in the iconic teen comedy *Mean Girls* (2004), followed by notable performances as Lilly Kane in the mystery drama series *Veronica Mars* (2004–2006) and Sarah Henrickson in HBO's *Big Love* (2006–2011).
Throughout her career, Seyfried has appeared in a diverse array of films, including the beloved musicals *Mamma Mia!* (2008) and its sequel *Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again* (2018), as well as *Jennifer's Body* (2009), *Dear John* (2010), and *Les Misérables* (2012). Her portrayal of Marion Davies in David Fincher's *Mank* (2020) earned her critical acclaim, including nominations for both the Academy Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress.
