Initially, he was signed with the REM talent agency, but in May 2007, he transitioned to Kekke Corporation, where he continues to hone his craft.

Before embarking on his voice acting journey, Okitsu showcased his public speaking skills as a moderator during the opening ceremony of the 79th Japanese High School Baseball Championship while in his third year of high school.
