Isaiah Washington IV, born on August 3, 1963, is a notable American actor and internet personality. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Dr. Preston Burke on the acclaimed medical drama Grey's Anatomy, where he starred from 2005 to 2007.
Washington's acting journey began with collaborations with renowned director Spike Lee, featuring in several of Lee's films such as Crooklyn (1994), Clockers (1995), Girl 6 (1996), and Get on the Bus (1996).
