Bruce Springsteen made his musical debut with his first album in 1973, but it was his sophomore effort, *The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle*, released later that same year, which captured the attention of rock critics and earned him the title of "the future of rock'n'roll." His 1975 breakout album, *Born to Run*, skyrocketed him to fame, establishing him as a bona fide rock star with the iconic nickname "The Boss."
