Mark Alan Ruffalo, born on November 22, 1967, is a prominent American actor whose career took off in the late 1980s. He gained early acclaim for his performance in Kenneth Lonergan's play *This Is Our Youth* (1996) and made a notable impression in the film *You Can Count on Me* (2000).
