Hugh Michael Jackman, born on October 12, 1968, is a distinguished Australian actor renowned for his diverse contributions to film and theater. Jackman's career took off in theater and television before he achieved global stardom as Wolverine/Logan in the X-Men film series, which ran from 2000 to 2017. His impressive portrayal earned him a Guinness World Record for the "longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero."

Over the years, Jackman has showcased his versatility across a range of genres, starring in beloved films such as the romantic comedy Kate & Leopold (2001), the action-horror Van Helsing (2004), the psychological drama The Prestige (2006), and the epic musical Les Misérables (2012). His role as Jean Valjean earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, alongside a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy. He also shone in The Greatest Showman (2017), winning a Grammy Award for Best Soundtrack Album.
