Sean Cronin
Biography
Sean Cronin, hailing from West London, was born to an English mother and an Irish/Welsh father. He first gained prominence in the music scene in the 1980s as the lead vocalist of the rock band 'The Marionettes.' Over a decade, from 1985 to 1995, he captivated global audiences, sharing stages with iconic acts like Pearl Jam and Nirvana, while releasing four albums and embarking on extensive world tours. Upon returning to England, Sean established 'Club Wild' in 1996, a nightclub that would become legendary within London’s nightlife.
In the early 1990s, Sean's passion for film ignited, leading him to transition into cinematography and directing. He crafted numerous high-profile music videos and short films, most notably directing the acclaimed "An Unfortunate Woman" in 2014. His feature film credits include "Throw of a Dice" (2012). With his striking and intense presence, Sean transitioned into acting, landing supporting roles in major films such as "James Bond: The World Is Not Enough" (1999), "The Mummy" (1999), "The Mummy Returns" (2001), and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" (2002).
Recently, Sean has taken on more prominent roles, including 'Cyrus' in "The Thompsons" (2012), and the menacing gangster 'Dellski' in "Hackney's Finest" (2014). He also starred as 'Arry' in "The Callback Queen" (2013) and portrayed 'Jacob' in "The Brother" (2014). As the founder of 'Magnificent Films,' Sean Cronin continues to evolve as a multifaceted artist in the film industry, establishing himself as one of modern cinema's most compelling antagonists.
