Biography
Samantha Bond, born on November 27, 1961, is a prominent English actress recognized primarily for her portrayal of Miss Moneypenny in four of the James Bond films featuring Pierce Brosnan. Additionally, she gained acclaim for her character, Lady Rosamund Painswick, a wealthy widow and sister to Robert Crawley, the Earl of Grantham, in the acclaimed series Downton Abbey. Bond is also celebrated for her groundbreaking performance as "Miz Liz" Probert in the television series Rumpole of the Bailey. Furthermore, she is associated with the Royal Shakespeare Company, showcasing her talents in classical theater.
