Biography
Natalie Dormer, born on February 11, 1982, in Reading, Berkshire, is a renowned English actress celebrated for her captivating performances. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Anne Boleyn in the critically acclaimed Showtime series The Tudors and for her role as the cunning Margaery Tyrell in HBO's epic fantasy series Game of Thrones.
Dormer grew up in a vibrant household with her mother, stepfather, and siblings, Samantha and Mark. Her early life was marked by experiences of bullying in school, yet she excelled academically and held the position of head girl at Chiltern Edge Secondary School. She later attended Reading Blue Coat School, where she not only thrived as a straight-A student but also served as vice-captain of the netball team and participated in a public speaking team that allowed her to travel internationally.
Despite her academic ambitions, including a place at Cambridge to study history, Dormer redirected her focus towards acting after falling short of the required A grade in her A-level History exam. She subsequently trained at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, honing her craft.
