Dawn French
Biography
Dawn Roma French, born on October 11, 1957, is a prominent British actress, comedian, presenter, and author. She gained widespread recognition for co-creating and performing in the BBC sketch comedy series French and Saunders alongside her close friend and comedic collaborator, Jennifer Saunders. Additionally, French is celebrated for her portrayal of Geraldine Granger in the beloved BBC sitcom The Vicar of Dibley. Over the course of her career, she has received seven nominations for the BAFTA TV Awards and, in 2009, was honored with a BAFTA Fellowship, an accolade she shared with Saunders.
