Biography
Donna Reed, originally named Donna Belle Mullenger, was an esteemed American actress and producer born on January 27, 1921, and she passed away on January 14, 1986. Over the course of her impressive career, which lasted more than four decades, Reed appeared in over 40 films, leaving a lasting mark on the entertainment industry. She gained widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Mary Hatch Bailey in Frank Capra's beloved 1946 classic, It's a Wonderful Life. Her remarkable talent was recognized in 1953 when she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Lorene Burke in the acclaimed war film, From Here to Eternity.
