Biography

Savannah, originally named Shannon Wilsey, was a prominent figure in the adult film industry and a well-known rock groupie, renowned for her connections with several high-profile musicians and entertainers. Throughout her life, she was romantically linked to notable names such as Gregg Allman, Billy Idol, Vince Neil, David Lee Roth, Billy Sheehan, Pauly Shore, Slash, and Mark Wahlberg.

Launching her career in adult entertainment in 1990, Savannah quickly achieved stardom and became one of the first contract performers for Vivid Video. Her success brought in significant earnings through her film work and various endorsement deals. However, her escalating substance abuse and extravagant lifestyle began to overshadow her professional achievements, ultimately leading to the termination of her contract with Vivid in 1993. Even after losing her contract, she continued to work with smaller studios and participated in low-budget film projects under her birth name, though her personal life remained tumultuous. Her tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship with fellow adult star Jeanna Fine lasted two years before coming to an end.

Tragically, on July 11, 1994, Savannah died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a car accident that left her injured. She passed away in the hospital that evening at the young age of 24, with her father and boyfriend Pauly Shore by her side. Her life, though brief, left a lasting impact on the adult entertainment world.
