Cleavon Jake Little (June 1, 1939 – October 22, 1992) was an accomplished American actor celebrated for his dynamic performances in both film and theatre. He gained widespread fame for his iconic portrayal of Bart, the quick-witted hero in Mel Brooks' 1974 satirical masterpiece, Blazing Saddles. This role not only showcased his comedic talent but also made a significant impact on the genre of parody films.
In addition to his film work, Little was recognized for his role as Dr. Jerry Noland in the early 1970s sitcom Temperatures Rising, where he brought humor and charm to the screen.
