Bill Wyman, born William George Perks on October 24, 1936, is a renowned English musician celebrated for his role as the bass guitarist of The Rolling Stones from 1962 until his departure in 1992. Following his time with the iconic rock band, Wyman formed his own group, Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, with whom he has toured and recorded since 1997. An avid journal keeper since childhood, Wyman has authored seven books that collectively sold over two million copies, showcasing his storytelling prowess. His passion for the arts extends to photography, with his works displayed in galleries globally. In his youth, financial constraints inspired him to craft a unique fretless bass guitar.

He even designed the "Bill Wyman signature metal detector," which has led him to discover artifacts dating back to Roman times in the English landscape.

His diverse interests and talents continue to shape his multifaceted career.
