Megumi Ogata is a prominent Japanese voice actress and singer hailing from the Greater Tokyo Area. Under her musical alias, em:óu, she showcases her talents as a singer. Although she enrolled at Tokai University, she decided to leave the institution due to a lack of interest in her studies.

Ogata has gained widespread recognition for her diverse roles in various anime series. She is particularly celebrated for her portrayals of Makoto Naegi and Nagito Komaeda in the Danganronpa series, as well as the beloved Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon. Her impressive repertoire also includes the character Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho, Tier Harribel in Bleach, and the iconic Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Additionally, she has voiced both Yugi Mutou and Dark Yugi in the popular series Yu-Gi-Oh! and brought to life Yukito Tsukishiro/Yue in Cardcaptor Sakura.
