Richard Ian Cox, born on October 3, 1973, is a talented Welsh-Canadian actor, voice artist, comedian, and online radio personality, celebrated primarily for his extensive work in anime dubbing, particularly in the iconic series InuYasha. He first rose to fame in the early 1990s, portraying Alec Ramsay, the adventurous teenager and horse rider alongside Mickey Rooney's character, Henry Dailey, in The Family Channel's Adventures of the Black Stallion.
Cox's voice acting career flourished with his role as Ian Kelley, the protagonist in the animated series Being Ian. Additionally, he lent his voice to Scattershot, an Autobot in the CGI-animated series Transformers: Cybertron, further cementing his place in the animation industry. In 2015, he took on the role of Lofty in the American dubbed version of the rebooted British children's series Bob the Builder, succeeding both Sonya Leite and Emma Tate.
