Biography

Christopher Allen Lloyd is a renowned American actor celebrated for his versatile performances across theater, film, and television since the 1960s. He gained widespread recognition for his iconic role as Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown in the beloved Back to the Future trilogy, which spanned from 1985 to 1990. Additionally, Lloyd captivated audiences as Jim Ignatowski in the acclaimed sitcom Taxi, a performance that earned him two Emmy Awards.

Lloyd's theatrical journey began in Northeastern productions during the 1960s and early 1970s, where he garnered accolades including the Drama Desk and Obie Awards for his outstanding performances. His film career took off with a pivotal role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), followed by memorable performances as Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984), Professor Plum in Clue (1985), Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel, Addams Family Values (1993).
