Tom Kennedy (July 15, 1885 – October 6, 1965) was a prominent American actor whose career spanned over five decades, making significant contributions to the world of comedy from the silent film era onward. Known for his versatile performances, Kennedy frequently collaborated with notable figures in the industry, including Mack Sennett and Hal Roach, and provided support to iconic comedians such as the Marx Brothers, W. C. Fields, Mabel Normand, Shemp Howard, Laurel and Hardy, and the Three Stooges.
Kennedy made his film debut in the short comedy *His Luckless Love* and became a familiar face in the Torchy Blane series, portraying Gahagan, the memorable cop known for his catchphrase, "What a day!
