Biography
Clovis Cornillac, born on August 16, 1968, is a prominent French actor, film director, and screenwriter. Hailing from a family of performers, he is the son of actors Myriam Boyer and Roger Cornillac. Clovis embarked on his theatrical journey at the young age of 14, immersing himself in the world of acting.
His cinematic career took off in 1984 with a role in Robin Davis's film "Outlaws." His talent quickly caught the attention of Dominique Besnehard, who facilitated his introduction to the esteemed theater director Peter Brook. Cornillac showcased his skills in Brook’s theatrical adaptation of the epic "Le Mahâbharata" at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord.
In his personal life, Clovis was married to Caroline Proust from 1994 until their separation in 2010. The couple shares twin daughters. In 2013, he married actress Lilou Fogli, and together they welcomed a son named Nino the same year. Clovis Cornillac continues to make significant contributions to French cinema and theater, establishing himself as a versatile and respected figure in the arts.
