Biography
Ane Dahl Torp, born on August 1, 1975, in Bærum, Norway, is a distinguished actress celebrated for her dynamic roles across both film and television. Growing up as the daughter of linguistics professor Arne Torp, she cultivated a passion for the arts that would lead her to a successful acting career.
Torp’s cinematic journey began with her debut in "The Woman of My Life" (2003), but her breakthrough came with notable performances in films such as "Svarte penger, hvite løgner" (2004), "Gymnaslærer Pedersen" (2006), and "Lønsj" (2008). Her talent earned her several Amanda Awards, and she was recognized as a Shooting Star at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival in 2006.
On television, Torp is well-known for her leading role in the acclaimed political thriller series "Occupied" (2015–2020) and has appeared in other prominent series such as "Home Ground" (2018) and "Deliver Me" (2024).
