Paul Leonard Newman (January 26, 1925 – September 26, 2008) was a multifaceted American talent renowned for his contributions to film, philanthropy, and auto racing. Over his illustrious acting career, Newman garnered significant acclaim, highlighted by an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Martin Scorsese's 1986 film, The Color of Money, along with eight additional Oscar nominations.
