Tara Summers, born on December 19, 1979, is a talented English actress recognized for her versatile performances on stage and screen. Growing up as the granddaughter of renowned bridge player Fritzi Gordon, Summers received her early education at Heathfield St Mary's School in Berkshire. She furthered her academic pursuits at Brown University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2001, before honing her craft at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, graduating in 2003, and attending the National Theatre Institute.
Summers has made a significant mark in the theatrical world, particularly with her one-woman show, "Gypsy of Chelsea." This poignant production draws from her own life experiences, exploring her mother's challenging battle with cocaine addiction and eventual recovery.
In addition to her stage work, Summers gained widespread recognition for her role as Katie Lloyd on the acclaimed television series "Boston Legal," where she appeared from 2007 to 2008. Her remarkable performance contributed to the show's ensemble being nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in both 2008 and 2009.
