Johnny Knoxville, whose real name is Philip John Clapp Jr., was born on March 11, 1971, in the city of Knoxville, Tennessee. He is widely recognized as an American actor, comedian, stuntman, and producer. Knoxville gained significant popularity as the co-founder and leading figure of the acclaimed MTV program "Jackass," a show known for its daring and often outrageous stunts performed by a group of friends.
Growing up in Knoxville, Knoxville developed a penchant for mischief and adventure early on. After graduating high school, he briefly enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in California but left to chase his ambitions in acting and writing.
